Happen to be stopping through Asheville North Carolina this Friday, and want to practice your Mandarin skills? The Asheville Chinese group is meeting at 5:15pm at the Vance Monument for a bit of practice. It’s nothing formal, and no money is involved, just stop by and say what you can (in Mandarin, and English when needed). The group’s leader is John Zhang, who works as a scientist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
